Spirals of Time

As we complete another revolution around the sun, I find myself reflecting on the arc of civilization, particularly the ancient and influential region of southern Mesopotamia.  The first known city, Eridu, gained prominence through kings who, according to mythology, descended from Heaven to construct Ziggurat temples and establish urban centers. These leaders fostered crafts that sustained culture, bolstered the economy, and provided sustainable resources for human survival. Eridu is often considered the cradle of civilization, where the Sumerians developed early forms of writing, governance, and religious practices.

Over time, two opposing groups, the ancient Sumerians and Akkadians, clashed, leading to divergent narratives and realities. Injustices multiplied, double standards emerged, and hostilities escalated until they reached a boiling point. Ruler kings were challenged or dethroned, deaths ensued, and trauma became embedded in the bodies, hearts, and minds of the people. Tensions simmered, peace remained elusive, and our ancient ancestors tried again. Intermarriage blurred tribal loyalties, yet simmering hatred persisted, creating a chain reaction of violence. The cycle of rebuilding continued, with victors and the defeated rising and falling, while unhealed trauma became deeply embedded in the subconscious, never forgotten.

We are travelers passing through the spirals of time.

By building an inner pathway to our spirit and strengthening our heartfelt determination, we recognize that life experiences, whether joyful or painful, preferred or regretted, provide opportunities for soul growth. At some point in our soul’s evolution, polarity battles become tiresome and dull. With spiritual alignment, our spirit memory returns. Engaging with our inner self, many become aware of an unexplainable and unshakable knowing or recall previous incarnations, allowing for a broader understanding of the qualities of spirit: timelessness, limitlessness, and the eternal nature of embodied light. The separation architecture within the body template from previous incarnations rises in conscious awareness, inviting us to complete the healing process. These shadows rise to be acknowledged, embraced and breathed through. When given unconditional space, integration occurs. When accepted in the healing process, elusive understanding becomes apparent, and stability returns.

Unconscious behaviors fuel inner conflict, confusion, uncertainty, blame, guilt, and shame. These emotions maintain the wounded scaffolding without resolve. By addressing these unconscious behaviors, we can end the need for epic battles, showdowns, revenge, and righteousness within us. The archetypal patterns between wounded healers and heroic victors engaging in savior narratives become consciously complete. We are given the rare opportunity to engage our spirit more fully. This engagement allows us to experience wholeness and peaceful change within our bodies. It creates palpable, long-lasting healing and peaceful transformation.
