Later, while standing before the Mayan calendar stone in the Quadrangle of the Nunnery, vivid inner visions emerged with a clarity that felt both ancient and intimately familiar. What unfolded afterward completed a sequence of experiences I could never have anticipated. This article invites you to explore Uxmal alongside me—learning its Mayan history, its architecture, and its subtle energetic language through a blend of personal experience and grounded research—while discovering the deeper outcome as the journey naturally reveals itself.

2. The Starseed Mexico Adventure

This adventure is part of a wider pilgrimage through the Mayan world, where history, intuition, and the land itself meet.
Our 2023 adventure began in Mexico City, where we immersed ourselves in the historic capital — wandering through the absolutely outstanding National Museum of Anthropology, savoring farm‑to‑table cuisine, and exploring the ancient city of Tenochtitlan hidden beneath the modern metropolis. From there, we traveled to Puebla to stand before the Great Pyramid of Cholula, the largest pyramid by volume in the world, rising quietly beneath a colonial church and surrounded by sweeping views of the valley.
Each day unfolded like a chapter in a living story. We explored pyramidal sites tucked into the countryside, walked ceremonial pathways, and felt the presence of cultures whose mysteries still echo through the land. We closed our journey before dawn, rising into the sky in a hot air balloon over Teotihuacan. From above, the world shifted into a new perspective: tiny houses and winding roads giving way to a mosaic of colors and shapes, green fields blending into brown mountains, and ancient pathways leading toward the Pyramids of the Sun and Moon and the Avenue of the Dead. It’s a place where majesty and mystery meet, whether explored on foot or from the sky.

3. Lost in the Jungle of Palenque
Step deeper into the Mayan world through my adventure in the jungles of Palenque, where forgotten temples, shifting pathways, and an unexpected encounter with American archaeologist Dr. Edwin Barnhart—the researcher who mapped the extensive ruins of Palenque in the 1990s—added an uncanny twist to the journey. In this story, I share how the land itself guided us along reclaimed trails, past sacred architecture, toward the site’s lone standing stone, and into moments of quiet destiny beneath the dense Chiapas canopy. This article offers a grounded, personal glimpse into our Starseed Adventures and highlights why these Mayan sites are worth exploring and learning about as part of a deeper connection to Mexico’s sacred landscapes.
