Starseed Ireland Adventure, 2018 — From Dublin to Galway

We began in Dublin with a private garden experience at Knockrose, a sanctuary where the land feels like a threshold. From there, we traveled west toward Galway before settling in County Tipperary near the serene waters of Lough Derg. Under the night sky, Cygnus the Swan rose high overhead, offering a moment of stillness and subtle wonder as we moved through landscapes steeped in myth, memory, and the quiet presence of the unseen.

Starseed Ireland Adventure, 2018 — Adare, County Kerry & the Dark‑Sky Coastline

Our path led us into Adare and onward into County Kerry, where the night sky opens like a cathedral. Along this rugged coastline, the Atlantic meets ancient stone in a way that feels both timeless and alive. Under the dark‑sky canopy, we gazed toward Skellig Michael, the jagged island once home to monks who lived between worlds. The coastline here carries a palpable charge — a meeting place of sea, stone, and spirit.

Starseed Ireland Adventure, 2018 — County Cork & the Priest’s Leap

From the standing stones near Uragh, we journied toward Priest’s Leap. Crossing the scenic pass into County Cork, we arrived at accommodations that offered a generous welcome. This region became our home base for the autumn equinox, a threshold moment marked by balance, stillness, and the subtle turning of the year. The landscape here holds a quiet potency — a blend of pastoral beauty and ancient memory — offering a sense of grounding before we stepped into the equinox window.

A Moment of Synchronicity at Drombeg

During the Starseed Ireland Adventure, 2018, we visited Drombeg Stone Circle as part of our time exploring County Cork. We spent time in quiet ceremony within the stones, honoring the land and the equinox window.

Meeting with Anthony Murphy

As the adventure unfolded, Author and researcher Anthony Murphy, who had traveled with us during the 2017 adventure, rejoined us for two days of exploration in 2018. Just weeks earlier, in July 2018, he and photographer Ken Williams had discovered the now‑famous “Dronehenge” formation during an unusually dry summer — a remarkable moment in their ongoing work with Ireland’s ancient landscapes.

At the time of our journey, Anthony had also recently written the story that would become The Cry of the Sebac — a tale centered on a mysterious, timeless bird known as the Sebac Gaoth, the Hawk of the Wind. In the story, a boy is guided by a floating, ancient bird who reveals hidden truths and forgotten destinies.

While we were at Drombeg, Anthony stepped alone into the center of the circle. It was his first time there.

As he stood within the stones, a lone bird appeared overhead. It hovered directly above him, suspended in the air as though held by an unseen current. We witnessed the moment — quiet, uncanny, and deeply symbolic — especially given the central role of the bird in his newly published work.

Later that evening, at our accommodations, Anthony offered a private presentation on equinox alignments and the ancient sky traditions of Ireland. His insights deepened the resonance of what we had witnessed earlier in the day.

It was a moment of alignment — between land, story, sky, and seeker — held gently within the stones.

Further Reflections on Drombeg

Threads within the circle

For a deeper exploration of this moment — and how it connects to the wider lineage of archaeoastronomy through Boyle Somerville, Callanish, and the living traditions of Ireland’s sacred landscapes — you can read my article, “Enter the Great Circle.” It traces the continuum from Somerville’s early surveys to Anthony Murphy’s discoveries, and finally to our own synchronicity at Drombeg.

Reflections, Story, and Film

Four Aliens and a Funeral: A Memoir of Perception

In this award‑winning memoir, I share my first spirit‑led call to adventure — the Starseed Australia Adventure — and the extraordinary initiations that unfolded along the way. Through encounters that challenged my understanding of reality, I learned to trust the unseen, follow intuitive guidance, and step fully into my multidimensional awareness. This book weaves personal story with cosmic insight, offering a candid look at what it means to awaken to a larger perception of self and purpose.

Available on Amazon.

Awakening begins the moment we choose to follow the quiet voice within — even when it leads us far from the familiar.
